Yum-my.

You may or may not know this about me, but birthday cake is my favorite food. I don't care if it's store bought, homemade, whatever, if I'm at a party or a wedding, I wait for the cake. The more frosting, the better (unless it's that whipped stuff, I pretty much count that as a total let down and throw the cake away completely unsatisfied.) I especially love getting a piece with a flower, yum.

If my kids are at a birthday party, I want a piece SO bad and just hope the parents will offer. On the other hand, I also am stingy on sharing my kids birthday cakes with the parents of the guests. I like to have leftovers. My favorite Coldstone Flavor- Cake Batter.

We got to go to the Fiesta Bowl this year, more to come on that, but while we were driving down Scottsdale Road, I spotted Sprinkles. I made John drive me back down there to get some. He teased me a little seeing as how he had never heard of Sprinkles Cupcakes, but I told him I read about them on a few blogs and my cousin Heather's blog made me really want to try them. It is not fair that she lives so close.

A-MAZE-ING. The End.

John was quoted as saying it was "Bizarrly Fantastic". At $3.25 a piece, he really wanted to dislike them. Yet, they did not disappoint.

My reviews-
Top left, Banana Dark Chocolate- Super yummy, delish like banana bread only covered in dark chocolate mmmmm. Great for any time of day, I had it for breakfast and was not disappointed. The Dark Chocolate is definitely a must and a perfect combination, although I saved half of it for later and then the frosting melted off, sad.

Top right, Coconut- SOoooo yummy. I love coconut and it was just the right amount. It was a little stale (I ate it after 2 days in the fridge and one day in the car, but it was still my second favorite. It was delish and I would highly recommend it.

Bottom left, Black & White- Yummy, but not my fav. I think I would definitely get two of the red velvet or coconut next time. Sorry for the bad review, but it didn't impress me.

Bottom right, Red Velvet- If you can only get one flavor, buy this. It was THE BEST. The cream cheese frosting was to die for. I loved it! Every bite. My only regret was that I didn't buy two (and that I gave John a taste- love you honey :)
